
The GRUPO OPERÍSTICO DE MADRID includes some twenty-five solo opera singers of several nationalities, and several pianists.

The soloists of the Grupo Operístico de Madrid appear every evening in La Favorita, whose unusual building also houses the Madrid headquarters of the Fundación Operística de Navarra, sponsored by the Grupo.

The FUNDACIÓN OPERÍSTICA DE NAVARRA, headquartered in Cintruénigo in Navarre, was born of Christian inspiration, with the aim of popularizing opera, while attempting to give publicity to new singers, and collaborating with a variety of non-profit institutions.
The Group has performed in a number of auditoriums, concert halls and theatres, not only in Spain but in Rome, Florence, Milan, Geneva, Cannes, Paris, London, Hampshire, Henley-on-Thames, Punta del Este in Uruguay, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Beirut.
It has performed on many occasions in the Spanish National Auditorium of Music and, among many other activities of an educational, social or cultural nature, has organized two opera concerts in Strasbourg and Brussels, attended on both occasions by the President of European Parliament, and two operas for children in the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid for the benefit of UNICEF, with the honorary presidency of Her Majesty Doña Sofía, Queen of Spain.
